Mike Fisher was born into a Christian family on January 5, 1980. As Mike grew up he became obsessed with playing hockey. He played with his older brother Rob and younger brother Bud who he cared for dearly. They played ice hockey, floor hockey, mini sticks you name it.When Mike was seven he started minor hockey and practised hard. as he got older he kept getting better and better. When Mike was seventeen he was the second person to get picked for the 1997 Priority Selection for the  Sudbury Wolves. During his two years with the Wolves he was entered into the 1998 NHL draft.

In 1999 Mike played his first year with Ottawa Senators. Almost every game Mike would get a goal. He played hard and knew how to give a good body check during a game. That didn't stop him from getting into a fist fight from time to time. During a game against the Leafs he got hit on the inside of his knee and tore his anterior cruciate ligament. A season ending injury and a trip to the hospital.

During the year of 2002 Mike and his team were playing against the New Jersey Devils. New Jersey was in the lead 2-1. Until the Senators tied it up with an amazing goal. Then the Devils took the lead again, but only for a few minutes until Ottawa scored again to tie the game. With only two minute left in overtime the Devils won the game. The Senators went home disappointed that they couldn't go to the final game and win the Stanley Cup for their assistant coach Roger Neilson who had cancer. only a month later Mr. Roger died.

On the year 2007 during a hockey practice at the Scotia bank place in Ottawa. A little three year old who's name was Elgin Fraser had been scheduled by the Children's Wish Foundation to lace his skates and come out on the ice with the Senators. Elgin had terminal cancer and was a big fan of the Senators and his dream was to skate with the. Elgin skated around in Mike's arms for the day. Sadly months later Elgin's cancer had become to much for him so he died.

On Thursday 10, 2011 Mike was traded to the Nashville  Predators. Mike was very disappointed that he'd be leaving Ottawa. He had eleven years as Senator. But God was leading him were he needed to go. Mike today is now one of the Nashville Predators and happy to be one to.

Their is nothing wrong with this book and I recommend it to all ages. I think every person of every age will love this book and learn about Mike fisher and about his faith.
