By Helen Keller
Helen Keller lived from June 27, 1880 to June 1, 1968.
Life was difficult for Helen as she was blind and deaf
but as she grew older she learned to talk.
she became a well-known American author ,
She was the first deaf blind person
to earn a Bachelor of Arts degree.
She also won a Presidential Medal of Freedom.
Some of the important people in Helens life were, Anne Sullivan,
Helens teacher who taught Helen how to read and write, her mother,
Kate Adams Keller, who help Helen as much as she could, her father, Arthur H. Keller,
who was not a noticed person in this particular book. Her siblings, Mildred Keller,
Phillips Keller, who like her father after were not told about in this book.
Helen' disabilities did not put her down and she kept believing that she could do everything
the way her friend did and she persevered and could do almost everything that her friend did.
I would recommend this book to a girl grades 5-8 because it is a little hard to understand
as she uses some big words.
Jeremiah 29:11
